The East Devonport Football Club would like to advise that our AGM will be held on the 24th of November at the clubrooms. The starting time will be at 5:30. All Members and locals are invited to attend.

It is with much pleasure (and fanfare!) that we announce the appointment of Scott Foster as the Junior Coordinator of EDFC. Scott succeeds Chris Young who passes the baton on after four years in the role. Scott will be a busy man as he is also coaching the girls under 17 team.

The Club would like to acknowledge the tremendous work Chris has done in that time, having been instrumental in growing our junior teams from none at the end of 2018 to a complete set of teams in 2022. The effort and time he has contributed has been significant to say the least and the players, supporters and volunteers earnestly thank Chris for creating the framework for the ongoing growth of our Club.

Reminder: The junior boys Best and Fairest count is on this Sunday, August 28th at the club rooms, commencing at 11am. Meals are provided and the bar will be open (for parents and supporters).

A big thank you to the North Hobart and North Launceston Football clubs; two power clubs in Tasmanian football for their ongoing support of our aspiration to be part of the Tasmanian State League going forward.

EDFC President John Febey along with other EDFC representatives were delighted to accept an invitation from North Launceston Football Club President Thane Brady to attend UTAS Stadium to watch Nth Launie take on North Hobart.

What a fantastic afternoon it was at our first Friday Sports Luncheon since February 2020 when Richo and Benny Harrison graced our turf.
